The Selection Committee gives the Dores a protected seed, and the road to San Antonio starts against Sienna on Friday Night.
It's the same song, different dance as Seth Davis picks Sienna in the first round. So does Gary Parrish and Jason Horowitz. As The Truth pointed out in tonight's press conference (excellent, by the way), the team has been underdogs throughout his career. Sienna may be a chic pick this year like the George Washingtons and Western Michigans of the past.
This year's squad has the elements of a Final Four contender: 4 seniors, great guard play, and a bevy of capable shooters. Defense will be the X factor. A rematch with Georgetown would sure be nice.
